Tibetan Singing Bowls – The ancient brain entrainment methodology for healing and meditation. Tibetan Singing Bowls have been used for centuries for healing and meditation purposes. They create a range of sounds to restore the normal vibratory frequencies of diseased and out-of-harmony parts of the body, mind and soul.
This is my own personal singing bowl that I have been working with. It makes such a lovely harmonic that I have decided to incorporate it’s usage into my Reiki sessions. I will be using the bowl to sweep the aura prior to a balancing therapy. In the case of distance sessions, I will use the bowl on Ursui Bear – the surrogate that I use.
May Reiki bring you calm and peace in your times of trouble. Meditate upon the shapes and the energy lines. Let your mind accept the healing that you need and let your body balance with your spirit. For D.H. and for anyone who needs this energy today.
Strength and Peace.

Another crystal ally has come to join us, this time beautiful piece of Labradorite. I think this one weighs about 3 pounds, but I haven’t weighed it yet. Labradorite is one of my personal favourites and I have several pieces of jewellery that include this stone. I fancifully see the light inside as ‘trapped lightning’ and in my imagination this becomes a metaphor for our own healing powers that lie dormant, just waiting for us to Reiki them into bloom.
Labradorite is a feldspar mineral of the plagioclase series that is most often found in mafic igneous rocks such as basalt, gabbro, and norite. It is also found in anorthosite, an igneous rock in which labradorite can be the most abundant mineral.
Labradorite in Healing
Labradorite Crystal has a number of interesting metaphysical properties, including its action to protect your aura, and to clear negativity from it. Not to mention the it’s just fascinating to look and and is a great tool for meditation. You can sit and gaze into the light that is trapped within and let your mind relax and focus. I wear Labradorite when I have lot of readings or healing to do. It really helps lift my spirits and at the same time, hone in on my purpose.
